Any news on his development ?

He's training with us now I believe and has been for about a week.

I'm guessing he'll play for South Wales first, then maybe Leigh before he gets a game for us. I'd only expect to see him in a Wigan shirt in pre season next year though,

More than likely the Scorpions, as our agreement with Leigh states no player over 23 will be sent to play for them.

I think we'd be missing a big opportunity tbh if he doesn't play in Super Leage this year. Even if we do lose tomorrow we still have a decent cushion to the rest, meaning we can play around a little and hopefully rest a few players especially close to challenge cup rounds. Plus if he played alongside 3 of the likes of Mossop, Flower, Crosby, Luauki and Dudson I very much doubt he'd need to play a massive amounts of minutes.

I think he will get a game this year.

Once the league position is known, I can see him getting a run out.

Iestyn will want him to have a first team run out as he'll be selected for the Wales World Cup squad.
I think he'll be in the first team before the season's out.

He won't play for Leigh as we have said we will only sign players on dual reg that are 23 & under

I think we could of done with him last night personally. IMHO Mossop and Hansen went hiding, leaving Crosby/Burke/Spencer to stand up and be counted instead.

Mossop will quickly get found out in the NRL if he continues to go hiding in big games.

Mossop still made over 100 metres, and i think hansen struggles after his collision with morley.

If thats true then its a massive surprise to me. I didn't even realise he was on the pitch half the time. As for Hansen, I agree he did struggle after his attempted shot on Morley but in all fairness he was invisible for most of the game before that incident anyway.

I was very disappointed with Mossop/Hansen's contribution last night. It's a worrying trend I'm seeing for Mossop in that he tends to hide in these big games.
