| I used do this years ago and I'm bringing it back. A simple idea you list the things to praise about the performance and whats making you grumble.
For me
Praise: Thought the pack was reasonably solid. Love the Ginger Pearl!
Grumble: Kicking Game obviously. As I wrote in my report we didn't get enough from 6,7,9 and 13 positions to win compared to that of Huddersfield. The full back and three-quarters thus had miserly scraps to feed off.
Match Report is here btw: [url=http://wigan.rlfans.com/news.php?readmore=1145=#FF0000wigan.rlfans.com/news.php?readmore=1145[/url

| Praise - Hard to see any positives.

| Praise - We did attempt to spread the ball, Finch had a lot of possession, we should get much better as the season goes on.
Grumble - Wane's hard line approach, he's an old school coach who expects to win every week, with this squad it isn't possible. If i hear him use the word 'tough' and ''hard taskmaster' again il scream.

| Praise:
Forwards ran hard all afternoon & mostly tackled/defended well.
Grumble:
Our kicking game
Good attacking plays coming to nowt after a loose pass or the ball going to ground
No pressure being put on Danny Brough every time he kicked meaning he had time to pick his spot
Four forwards on the bench meaning the team having to shuffle in order to accommodate Tommy going to 9 (where he should be)

| Praise - Mossop showed again he'll be the pack leader, and Farrell's angled runs are a joy to watch.
Grumble -The non-existent kicking game, lack of effort at times, Leuluai playing at 7 when he's never, ever, ever a Scrum Half.

| Praise - Mossop, Lima and Farrell all had decent games. We showed in glimpses that we're willing to play a bit of rugby.
Grumble - We looked really rusty and short of match practice. I'd put this down to too few preseason games for our first team.

| Praise - Farrell's contribution.
Grumble - Pre-season was obviously a completely mishandled as the players looked unfit and not used to playing as a team.
The players outside Finch are just not smart enough to make something of the passes he puts away. He is on a different level to the rest of the outside backs.
Pat looks to have lost too much pace to carry on as a winger for much longer (unless improved match fitness gains him a couple of yards).
The new signings are simply not as good as the players that have left.
Kicking game would shame an amateur side.

| Positives:
Lima, Mossop and Hansen ran very well. Harrison Hansen really has kicked on in these last few years. Liam Farrell runs some excellent lines too - the only forward to come on with any impact. Gaz Hock proved a handful on occasions too.
When Leuluai moved to hooker we looked a different side. TL must play at hooker!
When we did execute our plays, I thought we troubled Huddersfield and we scored with no-one laying a finger on any of our players.
Negatives:
Forwards coming off the bench - Flower/Lauaki/Tuson - didn't have much impact on the game at all. Tuson to be fair didn't have much time on the field, but they struggled for me. Looking forward to the return of Prescott/Fielden.
Mike McIlorum. Not convinced this lad is up to it. He just does not offer enough in attack. We looked a different side when Leuluai moved to hooker.
Kicking game. Leuluai cannot kick. His best position is without doubt at hooker. I wouldn't move Lockers out from 13, instead I would give Powell/Mellor a go. I accept they're inexperienced, but around Sam Tomkins, Brett Finch, Thomas Leuluai and Sean O'loughlin they'll have a top quality/world class 1, 6, 9 and 13 for support. Isn't Sam Powell's main strength his kicking game? He'll be getting a game sooner or later.

- Faz
- Mossop and Lima doing the work of 4 props because they didn't get any help yesterday (Fielden and Prescott can't come back soon enough)
[uGrumble[/u
- The worst kicking game in SL by some distance, calling it appalling would be giving it far too much praise. The Lamb and Flag 2nd XIII would have been embarrassed.
- We've got the slowest three-quarter partnership in SL on our left hand side.
- The huge gaps left up the middle for Shudds to exploit, and from which they scored all their tries.
- The fact Shudds wanted it more.

| Praise: - Liam Farrell, always looks like he's got a break in him, deceptively quick as well. Should always make the bench ahead of Flower/Tuson when Prescott & Fielden are back.
Hansen was good as well, ran hard, looks like he might have put a bit of size on.
Grumble:- Kicking game, shambolic. Brough won Hudds the game by pinning us back.
We look slow and laboured with McIlorum at 9. Yes he's rock solid in defence but we need more going forward in such a key position(Roby, Monaghan). If he's playing 50/60 minutes every week we're gonna struggle to break the better sides down.
