The number of teams in the playoffs and the structure of the playoffs is wrong though. I get the impression that is the opinion of the majority.

I like the playoffs in principle and the idea that's it now how you start but how you finish. But Leeds' win should serve as a warning that the current system is in danger of making the regular season almost meaningless and therefore unappealing to attend for the spectators.

Leeds won and fair play to them. We won the Cup, the main emphasis of the club in 2011 (like it or not).

When we are winning we never see a post from you as you have been shown up time and time again with your views. Then in a game that does not involve us you decide to slate our ethos and Madge a man who has transformed this club.

On the contrary, I feel that Leeds' win means that there is proof that a side outside the top 2 can win the "comp".

They grey area for me is what is seen as the "comp" by the powers that be. Is it the 27 weeks of fixtures, or the 4 weeks at the end with the playoffs? At the moment, there is too much neglect on the regular season.

The team who finishes top should be celebrated as much as the GF winners do now in my opinion. If Rovers ever finished first I can safely say I would be disappointed if they received a similar trophy presentation to that of Warrington's this year.

The league should be structured that they play 27 weeks, with the winner crowned Super League champions 20xx, wait 2 weeks and then have the 20xx Super League Playoff Series, 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5 and then have a simple bracket resulting in the Final at Old Trafford to crown the Playoff champion. Similar to the old Premiership trophy.

I see it more of praise for Leeds than criticism of Wigan.
