I did intend to go by train...it is free for me but all my family have to pay so I think I'll go in the car. What time are all the drivers setting off so I can get a head start on them.

about 10 mins walk. We have parked there the last 2 years and are doing the same this time. Much easier than trying to find somewhere else to park and being ripped off. Get some food at the Lowry centre then head over towards the ground.

Just walk down the canal over the bridge past the war muesum and your there.

The alternative could be day saver tickets bus,train and tram £7 for an adult

That's my plan, but just train & tram for £6.50

What time are you all setting out? There will be coaches going from Heinz 3pm, I paid £10.30 for a car parking space at Old Trafford.
