Simple what should our game plan be?

For me there are 4 things we must do

1. Wrestle, we have done it so well and its giving us a great advantage recently.

2. No pens, saints can tear a team appart when they are playing well so we cannot just give them yards.

3. Up in defence quick and get in their faces.

4. Great kicking game spliting the winger and fullback.


If we do these 5 things I think we win the game, saints win every single game where they are allowed to play so if we slow them down and win the wrestle and have a good kicking game they won't be able to play. We must also take every chance we get and have more composure.

Was number 5: Score more points than they do?

You knwo what I mean, there are certain things we must do to score more points than them.

turn em round on kicks and over in the ruck, move our def line up quickly, and stick micky m, sam, tommy and piggy up the middle in the upper 2/3rds of the field. we can do it lads

Field position is vital on sat it will be a close game so do the hard work in there half so we are going back at them in there half

Pryce,long and gidley are there danger men i know they have been **** poor but we know what they can do so shut them down quick rap the ball up and dont give them an inch cause they will take a mile

In a few games this season Saints have looked very susceptible when the opposition HB has controlled the game and kicked them to death. I honestly think the key to beating Saints is driving them deep with kicks and forcing their back three, which isn’t known for it’s line breaking ability or searing pace, to come up with big plays.

Brough, Dobson and Tim Smtih have all played massive roles this season in their teams victories against Saints and tomorrow isn’t gonna be any different.

If we gift them field position via stupid penalties, low set completions and a poor kicking game then we will lose.

Control the ball and we'll always be there or thereabouts in a game. We have enough attacking weapons to get us points on the board in big games aslong as we keep the mistakes to a minimum. It will also obviously help us in defence because the more we keep the ball the less Saints will have it.

Silly errors like we saw whilst playing the ball and the like against Castleford will kill us tomorrow.

Nail on the head pretty well hit, turn us round and have a solid chase we will struggle with our lack of pace. Last time out you went too negative and almost kicked dead on purpose were keeping the ball in play would have put us under more pressure.

You still have to be very solid defensively and slow the play the ball down that spoils a big part of our attack to which we haven't adapted fully yet.

There are a lot of teams out there with a lot more to worry about than Saints but if I was either a Saints fan or coach I’d be very worried about the real lack of pace in not only your back three but your back line as a whole.

I wonder why it hasn’t been addressed? With Soliola coming over next season it would have been good if you would have gone for someone like Fox outside him which would have been lethal imo.
