Too true Victor. Whare added a level of competency to the 2023 season but it’s not since Hankinson that we had someone that was top level. Not sure we’ll get to that level but it would be nice, should we score, that we have someone that can convert from attempts that are other than in front of the posts.

Yes the truth is I hear a player’s back story is Skolars and/or Cornwall or West Wales now departed and I, perhaps fairly, roll my eyes and think this isn’t great but there may be reasons why. If you are London based and not up to Broncos previous standards then Skolars was a perfectly reasonable option for a bit of pin money. The problem is where we don’t have the quality to carry them whilst they step up or not. Macani developed into a decently effective Championship player so who knows. Others well draw a veil over from the Coleman period.
