With Louie M-S signing a new 1 year contract at Saints at the age of 37, does that not make him London's greatest achievement in Rugby League? A real shame we were never able to bring him home.

LMS having built a good life in the North was never going to move back to the South.
It is just simple economics. Although it is a shame.

Not sure there is another London developed player who has made over 400 SL appearances.

Matt Salter, though I doubt he even made it in to 3 figures with SL appearances.

Not had Louie's success or longevity but I suppose you could bracket him with Dom Peters & a few others.

Dan Sarginson & Mike McMeekin have obviously done well for themselves as London developed players but as we all know there are a lot of them earning some sort of living from the game which for a club of our resources is 1 of the few admirable things about us.

We could stretch it by mentioning Tulsen Tollett.
He now presents sports bulletins on the BBC in the early hours of the morning.

Yes definitely stretching it AJ, but Tulsen's a great bloke & was a real Mr Versatility in the backs. However, how about although not a Londoner by birth but you could say Broncos did develope & that would be Tony Martin. Just the sort of player we could do with now.

Tony Clubb must've played a fair few SL games, though not as many as 400.

We're beginning to get a half decent side together. If only............
