So what was his excuse this week? Upset stomach? I have never known a player with no known injury suddenly not appear for a match as often as Gaskell has, i can think of at least 4 occasions when he has missed games despite no mention of an injury and being named in the matchday squad. Totally throws your preparation into the air when a half back withdraws at the last minute.

he has played more than quite a few players in our team.... they can be called sicknotes too then mcgillvary, cudjoe, clough, ferguson,...could go on pointless to single out gaskell when he has played more than most

It's the fact that he so often disappears on game day that narks me, he has done it many times, if a player has a longterm injury fair enoigh with gaskell he has many 1 week mystery problems

Don’t worry he is only here for another 3.5 years. Despite him being known for being injury prone.

Seemed a bit odd to me that so I checked it out. He made 25 appearances for us in SL last season. The previous year he made more appearances in a season than any previous.
Don’t just take garbage that people spout and claim it as gospel. Check facts.

Google “Lee Gaskell injury”. Page after page after page. One “good” season in terms of appearances doesn’t take away the multiple seasons of knees, calves, hamstrings, heart murmurs, dizzy spells, migraines etc etc. I like Gaskell when he is fit and on form but facts are indeed facts.
