As some of you know my Dad is Fred B, a short time ago (a month or so) he was sent for an xray (after years of coughing and being told he had COPD and being given steroids, antibiotics and inhalers) . the xray showed something so they got him back in for an MRI scan and it showed he had Lung Cancer. Well on monday last week he had half his lung taken away at Wythenshawe hospital. Its looking like the operation was successful and he was sitting up joking and pottering round, oh and reminding my Mum about the Lifeline collections. I just wanted to let folk know that he seems back to his self now and hopefully the cancer has gone for good.
