| Thought I'd start a thread about the big match on Sunday as everyone seems to have forgotten about this game which will probably be our biggest match of the season thus far.
Its all about the result and I'm hoping the week off will have given the lads a bit of a rest and a chance to knock out the bumps and bruises.
Dewsbury will be no mugs and they come to the LSV after a big win v Halifax, if we play to our potential I think we will do ok but underestimate the Rams and the players will be signing off earlier than many of us will have hoped for.
Leigh 26 Dewsbury 14.

| Won't be an easy game imo.
They only lost to us at the LSV earlier in the season in the last minute.
They have very good defence and are very well coached.

| Defence is the key. If we defend well, our attack will sort the rest out.
We will score 24 +
Are Dewsbury good enough for us to conceed more than that ??

| Dewsbury are a very handy side and, for the first time in the league this season, I reckon they might be able to just about edge it in the forwards. Still, as long as we play a smart game down the middle (that means no daft offloads, Walker) and Riddy dominates Thackeray as I expect him to then we should come out on top. One try in it until the last 10 minutes then Leigh by 14.

For me this is the difference between the British game and the Aussies, their view is there's no such thing as a daft off load, just poor backing up, there are 12 other players on your team its up to one of them to get themselves into position to catch it. We on the other hand blame the player off loading when there’s no body there.

But even the Aussies will acknowledge that there is such thing as poor timing - many of Walker's offloads seem to be released when he's nearly hitting the deck and has no control over where the ball is going to end up. No amount of supporting runners is going to change that, particularly as we've seen a couple of times where his offload is virtually horizontal and the tackling defenders can barely believe their luck when the ball virtually lands in their arms.

| Bit disappointed the club has done nothing on ticket prices why it's the last home game of season maybe if there was some kind of offer on we would get more on .ie £10 adults

| I am very disappointed the club didn't put the prices up for such an important game, keeping the prices the same under values a semi final imo, it should have been £20/18 that way we would get more on, but as its a shared gate Dewsbury may not have wanted that
Dewsbury fans think its a bargain and are confident 500+ will be over to create a brilliant atmosphere - can see a Featherstonesque buzz around the place like the Challenge cup game, roll on sunday it will be very tight
