If next season's format was to be applied now....we would be playing Salford, Wakefield, Hull, Hull KR.

I reckon we would have the chance of a few points there with our current team.

Reality check needed, we struggled to beat dewsbury yesterday. This season has been fantastic so far but for us to have any chance next year we will need to strengthen

Despite our performance at Leeds their is a still a massive gulf between the divisions.

I couldn't agree more , we need at least 4 Quality signings next season to rise to the next level ,and compete not only with the 2 Clubs coming down , but the bottom 4 from SL , in the Mini League , though I do think our BOM know this as does PR and they will address this in the coming months .Full Time players will be great , but we need Experience as well .For me a clear out of maybe 6-8 players is needed , no room for sentiment , I have faith in our BOM and PR both on and off the field , currently the Pre and Post match experience atmosphere is Electric , well done to all concerned .

can anyone explain the exact system for the end of next season? I understand our top 4 play the bottom 4 of super league but what happens after that? Is there no grand final for the middle 8? Is it just the top 4 of the middle 8 that go into super league?

Richard , as far as I know the Top 4 in our League will play the Bottom 4 in SL , in a Mini 8 League , im not sure but I think some points are carried over to this League , though I could be wrong about this , then after this League has finished the top 4 go into SL .Salfordlad knows .

Bottom 4 SL and Top 4 Cham go into a middle league of 8 and start again on 0 points

Play each other once with the 4 champ clubs getting 4 home fixtures and 3 away and SL clubs 3 home games 4 away

Top 3 in the league after 7 rounds go into SL for following season

position 4 plays position 5 in a play off game (1 millionpound match) for final SL Place

Basically we play off for the 4 remaining Superleague places

The bottom 4 include London and Bradford.

From what I have seen our performances have really gone downhill the last 2 games. The first loss does not appear to be far away. Lets hope they don't give Aston the opportunity to crow about it
