These next few weeks could be ugly. Anyone remember the team being booed at London the week before Wembley 2009? Matt King flipping the bird?
I think you're referring to when we lost 60-8 to Harlequins (as they were called then)? If so, then yes, I was there, and it was indeed ugly. It wasn't the week before Wembley, though, it was in March 2009. Yes i went to that game for some reason. It was the absolute low point before Smith got a grip of the team and the rest was history. Interestingly Lowes was sacked 2 games before following a 48 point hammering at Wakefield. Wakefield is not a happy place for us.

We're in for a mullering, I just hope Sky don't get too excited about HKR beating half a team. The highlight of my night will probably be seeing Tara Jones in her short shorts in the chippy afterwards again.
Rovers missing JWH, Rhyse Martin, McIlorum, Gildart, Hadley and Bill Leyland. So that's pretty much half a HKR team also. Not splitting hairs but you're not really missing your big guns, are you? JWH at a push and you've not had Martin for weeks.

Yep 28:40 vs Wakefield at home. https://www.rugbyleagueproject.org/seasons/super-league-2009/warrington/summary.html

| Two understrength teams. And Rovers will be even more under strength due to cup tied players at Wembley. Thar's why with Wire getting players back and Rovers not doing it's still all to play for at Wembley.

Probably more as well seeing as our back up players are injured. You are worried about Wembley,.........and rightly so.
