I'm sure most of us would love to see Mr Cronk at the HJ, the excitement and quality he would bring is immeasurable . Before today's game with the Bulldogs Andrew Johns did an in-depth review of Cronk. He is a consummate professional and would be a great example to move the team forward. We all know about his salary, however would he first choice for Australia and Queensland with Cherry-Evans looking more likely. This morning is the poorest I have seen the Storm play and the result was reflective of their season despite having their first team choice all on display. Maybe Cronk may feel its an opportunity to get a 4 year deal and a new challenge. Their champion team seems to be breaking up , Hoffman is off to the Warrios,The 6 Ben Roberts is off to Castleford. We need a strong leader, who would take the lead next year? Sims? J.Monaghan? The NRL press aren't letting the rumour go?

It would be a sensational signing but I will believe it when I see it.

We touched upon that the GOB u'turn looks a significant move.
Instead of a knee jerk reaction buying a stop gap hb on a 3 year deal, the likes of one that little makes any difference to our team or having to cough up a substantial fee for someone who would, if at all they would even consider selling, we hold out for the cream.

Cronk is off contract for 2016 and Storm have yet to snare him into another deal.
The noises in the last couple of weeks come from the right places, although I still couldn't see it myself, until I thought again about the GOB saga.

Sorry SC, I didn't phrase that very well. It was intended as a point on time and not as oz interest in GOB.

I can't wait to see Cooper Cronk play for us. Has anybody told him yet ?
