I believe after them beating us 70-6 he stated it was not the players but the leadership of the club. I can only assume that a man of his "interigity" and "leadership skills" would apply that to himself when looking at a club that won the treble last year and 3 months later is second from bottom of SL.

I remember he very publicly berated Dr K's leadership skills. MK is still a multi-millionaire business person, he is a rugby coach responsible for taking a top team to people discussing relegation in s matter of months.

I would imagine he will be more concerned with his own team. Yes we have improved, and our defence was outstanding, but Leeds were poor. They performed like a bottom 4 team last night and only came alive in the last five minutes. We have played better than last night against Leeds and lost, fir example last season and the Challenge Cup game a few years back.

To be honest McDermott's comments last year may have been unpalatable for certain folk to swallow , nonetheless, he was right to voice his opinion as the Club at that particular time was flirting with behind the scenes backhanded rig morales and all sorts of financial misdemeanours regarding certain affiliates surrounding the Club. it was internally in turmoil and was being run Mafioso style. McDermott was right to voice his opinions in my eyes.

But let's give credit where it's due as Marwan has acknowledged the errors of his ways and has provenly took a few steps back and let Tim run the show. Unfortunately, a skeleton has been unearthed within his closet and needs dealing with and swiftly moving on from. Marwan is on the straight and narrow and that can only be good for us. He's a success we just have to be a little more patient because he's the right man to steer us. No doubt.

The silence from Headingley following last night's match is deafening. Quite right. They should not be passing comments on us whether we win or lose (apart from maybe a gracious 'congratulations' as any decent loser would do, but having heard the details of last night's press conference there was not even that).

Having an opinion as a mere fan is one thing. Voicing your thoughts on how an opposing organisation should be run (from a lofty position in a rival competitor) and the impact that is having on their staff is quite another. You know that full well Stanley.

Come on let your hair down, he McDermott obviously knows a hell of a lot more what was going on than you'll ever come into knowing. And McDermott didn't exactly throw the full dirty linen out in the garden did he, McDermott aired an opinion which everybody is entitled to, he could have elaborated extensively more information which he obviously kept schtum about. The Club deserves to be highlighted for the Mafioso turmoiled dodgy dealings it was undoubtedly delving heavily into.
