It isn't a mascot in any way shape or form?

In my eyes a mascot is a marketing tool to get children interested in thier formative years, create a bond to the club with thier love of the big lovable cuddly creature. Not a sterile quasi power ranger who would be more popular as the soap boy up in the village.

Sorry but for me the creation of Ignito has been a marketing cock up from the get go and we now have a good oppertunity with the new ground to let him gracefully go to the great gay bathhouse in the sky and start afresh.

Dare Devil Duck!

I had to wear Dare Devil Duck when on my work ex at Solly many moons ago. Couldn't see a bloody thing, did some promo at Sainsbury's on Regent Road i think it was and ended up knocking over a load of them basket promotions they have!

Was not a great experience although it will come in handy if I ever have to join Fathers for Justice!

He is a step up from daredevil duck not the finished article could be seen in photos in the community a bit more and on sky when we play, Ronnie the rhino is the kind of mascot personally we need to aim for or Wolfe from wire.

Can you have "gay aliens" ? Seems masculine to me lots of fist punching and encourageing of the crowd could do with having a trick like a summersalt or funky dancing when we score but surpose he would have to learn to do that

I have a mate who starts work in the stadium as a sparky, said he should be there till Xmas so looks like they are starting doing the insides now

Mine too and, as far as I'm concerned, their views matter more on this point than the views of grown men who should probably be more interested in the rugby being played than how "gay" the mascot looks?!

Having 2 son who are obsessed with wrestling and Power Rangers, they were in owe on Friday night of Ignito and my youngest could not get enough of him. As optomist has stated, if the right marketing was done with him, he could be a great mascot. My youngest wanted Ignito toys and was a little upset that there wasn't more than the soft toy on offer.

I just wish the club used him correctly like yesterday was he there? I didn't see him would have been ideal opportunity for a appearence for the kids, doing the activities ect.

New stadium we shud be using ignito more imo to get kids on board, I surpose it depends how "available" ignito is perhaps he needs a bit of help to share his workload.

The ideal solution would have a match day ignito and a non-matchday ignito share the workload so ignito would appear in photos/videos promoting the club.

my little boy (2) loves ignito or nighto as he calls him, he sleeps with the soft toy as he thinks it looks after him at night in his own room
