It is impossible to know the 100% reasons why players choose to move to Union, we know he is not always on the start sheet for Saints even when fit.
What we do know, that the vast majority fail to make any strides in the 15 aside code.
I would say he is to "light" to be a Union player, he is very skillfull however and that might work it.
I would give him 24 months and he will be back at Cas or Wakefield etc... |

Every player that has come back from union is a lesser Rugby League player.
Union seems to blunt their skill set |

Certainly is, one of the first names on the team sheet. Good luck to the lad its a short career sometimes in sport, with the rubbish salary cap in League he has probably not far off doubled his contract salary in Union.
Fresh challenge for him as well to get noticed in Union to be good enough to play for Wales. |

Well, put it this way, he has not played much this season and Saints are still top and no one is saying "we need grace back".
I like him, I think he is a great player, but I also think he is surplus at Saints at the moment, as has been proven.
He will be back signing for Cas within 24 months I reckon.
