Its not fair basing ours on the population of Bradford when all Bulls fans are from Halifax!

Interesting comparing to population are there stats for all clubs based on % of population against average attendance.

So skew the figures to suit whatever point is trying to be made ?

In that case Saints don't come out particularly well as a % attendance against 1.4m population for Merseyside....... whereas London Broncos seem pretty good as a % of the population of 300k in Richmond (from their data at The Stoop).

I know thats tongue-in-cheek but it's probably not far from the truth. I'm not sure Bradford has ever or will ever be what you would call a Rugby City. Those bumper gates were swelled by many people from all the villages between us and Halifax (we released "Battleground Shelf" on the Ps2), and probably a lot from Fax itself. Similarly a lot from Huddersfield etc.

Anyway to answer the question, you can't compare London's gate with the population of Greater London, anymore than you can compare Salford's with greater Manchester. It has no meaning.

London built up a decent side & following for while in the late 90s when Richard Branson was onboard - with a decent league finish (runners up 1997) and CC Finalist (1999).

Shame it went awry once he sold out to David Hughes around 2002.

The way the clubs going they will become the worst Championship supported club. Approx 150 at the game on Sunday. I get the feeling they've given up.

Seemed a damn shame a couple of years ago when they got relegated from SL with 20 pts, 10 wins, but a worse 'goal difference' than HKR.

Looked like they were at least putting out a competitive side, only to slide back into the Championship, only now to be subject to yet another nomadic ground move this season.
