I've been having a look at their website today, and thought I'd share.
How they'd structure their fixture list was one of the main talking points when it was announced they were joining League 1. here's their fixture list:
https://www.torontowolfpack.com/2016/10 ... -released/
R1-R5 away
R6 is their first home game vs Oxford
R7 away
R8-R9 home
R10-R11 away
R12 home
R13 bye
R14-R15 home
So that's: 6 home & 8 away in the regular 14-game rounds.
Super 8's they're playing their first three games away, with the last 4 games at home.
Ont he squad front, they're building a decent side - so far they've signed the following:
Reece Dean (Hull FC)
Greg Worthington (Leigh)
Andrew Dixon (Leigh)
Craig Hall (Wakefield)
Ryan Burroughs (USA Captain)
Bob Beswick (Leigh)
Jack Bussey (London)
Jonny Pownall (Leigh)
Dan Fleming (Bradford)
Rhys Jacks (Sheffield) (Canada Captain)
Blake Wallace (Illawarra Cutters)
James Laithwaite (Warrington)
Gary Wheeler (Warrington)
Liam Kay (Leigh)
Paul Rowley, Brian Noble, Simon Finnegan & Kurt Haggerty make up the coaching staff, with Beswick being Strength & Conditioning coach.

| Last year Crusaders and Scorpions both hosted Toulouse, this year Crusaders and Ironmen both play Toronto at home, dont the RFL trust the Welsh clubs to behave abroad!!!!!

| Haggerty only 27, I doubt he will be putting his boots up just yet.
Just another sneaky way of player recruitment without paying a transfer fee by Mr "morals and ethics" Rowley

Someone made the same point on the Leigh board. Probably best to just wait and see really, Haggerty's appointment takes it to two assistant coaches, which is the norm.

| Craig Hall was fantastic going forward for us at times this season so he should absolutely annihilate teams in the third tier. Liam Kay for top try scorer and Hall for player of the season.

| Very rough maths:
21 games where they need to pay flights (£500 each for arguments sake) plus hotels (£100 each) for say 22 players and staff. That equals approx. £270k. Plus other costs lets say they need to make between £300k - £400k per season on top of player costs, ground costs, insurance etc
If they have the sponsors they say they have plus their share of the RFL money and if that covers their normal costs then they would need to sell about 1,300 season tickets (at $300 each) to break even.
As they get around 7,000 for international matches it might be doable.
I know the maths will be nowhere near accurate but give a flavour of what they will need to do. Plus they don't have the flat caps and whippets stereotype of RL over there so will find it much easier to get some decent sponsorship.
I hope it works as it will give us a real platform for the international game.

In the Dave Woods interview with Perez, Perez was quite nonchalant when he answered the financial questions, saying about his fellow investors, partners such as the City of Toronto & the Mayor, deals with hotels & airlines etc, expected sponsorship deals. it doesn't seem an issue.
Crowds will be interesting. As you say, the national team pull in around 7k. In a sports mad city with a he catchment area, 7k sounds achievable.

| Hopefully the home crowds will soon rise to 10,000 and Toronto will immediately smash its way into the Championship in the manner of Toulouse.
