All for it in principle but, the cost of travelling and the ability of part time players to afford the time out, will be considerable to both Toulouse and the Championship 1 clubs.

I think you will find most games in France will either be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
I'm sure will find that the RFL will help the clubs with Travelling expenses |

Having failed in the championship because of the practicalities of international part-time competition, the answer is of course to put Toulouse in League 1.
But hey, at least the new system has placated the championship clubs by giving them a clear and attainable path to Super League and they are all hugely in support of it...............oh

oh........but it's unlikely to work well until SL and Championship are allowed to play to the same rules. There you go Smokey I know that's what you really wanted to say. Can't have a league with clubs all playing to different rules now can we, that just wouldn't be fair |

Yeah I'm sure the likes of Whitehaven Workington and Batley are sat there thinking, you know what the problem with last season was, Leigh and Bradford just didn't spend enough more than us.
Swinton and Oldhams only worry about next year is that the wage disparity between them and the clubs getting hundreds of thousands more than them will simply be too small.
Last seasons top Championship side lost 1 game and the bottom side won 1 game. The problem with this system isn't that the top Championship clubs can't spend enough.
So at least it's not just Toulouse getting f@cked over so some clubs can pretend to be SL clubs.

We're looking forward to our trip to Toulouse next season already!
If Toulouse do well they could well be promoted to the Championship for 2017. Then do even better (in the Middle 8s in 2017) and it's Super League for 2018.

Really happy with this decision, if French teams want to join our system then great as long as more come into it, 4 seems a decent number. If they are serious about this European super league idea then maybe teams in Ireland and perhaps Spain should be considered in our system, I think Catalans have played in Barcelona before, which is why I say Spain.
What I would say though is someone needs to put money into the French league. In the long term French teams coming into our system isn't sustainable because of travel costs and home advantage etc. Develop a decent French league and we could have a European competition or expand the world club series further.
