Fantastic news, but like Vastman says let's not get carried away. It will take several years of sustained heavy investment (in RL terms) in Salford to get them up to a good standard as a club.
Still, if I were a Salford fan I'd be pretty bloody happy right now.

Well if you watch the Dr's press conference he clearly states that he wouldn't bother buying the club if we Wernt capable of winning trophies in the next 4 to 5 years so if he delivers on his promise yea it would be an RL version of Man city, a team who go from whipping boys to winning the title in the space of 5 years. It would be exactly the same. |
