I'd go with another prop instead of Ablett but in the absence of one this is pretty much the team I would pick too. It's an ideal opportunity to bring a young prop into the squad, to get used to the environment more than anything.

Sinfield not dropped but being rested. I can't contain the excitement when I think of this painfully bad international player lining up at 6 for England in the World Cup. Gives someone an opportunity to keep him out I suppose, let's hope somebody takes it.

I think McBanana wants to see what other players have to offer in the halves & at loose. Tomkins & Hall are missing because they are shoe in's, and will be the first two names he writes on any England team sheet going forward, if injury free.

I thought these games were supposed to give the England team a feel for playing together.. as such I CANNOT understand why you would obliterate your starting 13. One or two changes perhaps but they might as well rename this England A v the exiles as come seasons end, or in the world cup with your o/s players there might, and I mean MIGHT be 5 of those guys playing

I think there's a lack of good young props in the whole league to be honest. Maybe Larne Patrick, Chris Hill or Scott Taylor could have been selected, but aside from them who is there coming through?
