| Well what a massive surprise that is.
It was surely totally obvious, when Caisley named the people he claimed were to assist him in the "review", that Noble and Tasker were likely to be the beneficiaries of any suitable positions that suddenly became available? Especially since both were seemingly immediately available.
I think it is stretching credibility too far to suggest that either or both would be prepared to work for any protracted period for nothing, thereby depriving themselves of the opportunity of earning a living? I could quite easily see a scenario where they are prepared to work without pay over a brief transitional period, if/until the transfer to Newco is complete. Whether they would then receive back-pay if the sale was successful, or be paid by Caisley or similar, or would simply write off the time as their contribution to saving the club, I suspect would not be seen as anyone else's business?
They of course both would face the risk of being ejected if a successful bidder chose instead to reinstate Potter (as I would personally wish, and the players clearly seem like they would) and/or Duckett.
FWIW, I have only ever heard decent things about Tasker, and I suspect he was something of an unsung hero behind the scenes in the early days of SL making a lot of the hard yards for which others were maybe more highly credited.

I'd agree and say that i'd hope any new owner would re-instate Mick and the rest of the coaching team. They were getting it right and the players clearly want to play for them. He's also been the first coach in yonks who has actually blooded youth players in the first team rather than play older ones out of position.
I would however be glad if Tasker became CEO. The guy has done a lot of good in both the Bulls initially and then with the RFL. Although Ryan is Bulls through and through, he's no CEO and i think the events of the last few years have shown this.

| I don't see how this can be anything but good news for the club going forward. I'm sick of all this 'I told you so', conspiracy rubbish. Let's just try and get the club back on its feet eh? This is a big step in that process as far as I'm concerned.

Me too.. im starting to think differently. If Caisley buys us and we have Noble & Tasker amongst others then maybe, we'll have a club that works. It has done before & all i want right now is a club to support.

| They'll be announcing next that Duncan Preston is providing the pre match entertainment. Or reprising his dinner ladies role as general handyman responsible for maintaining the ground

| A good move. A person at the helm, working for nothing, with bags of experience and a Bradfordian with the club at heart.
First bit of good news in days!

Ha ha, I remember that one! Somebody was thinking laterally, out of the box and into the clear blue sky with that one - did any other team copy it, I wonder? Just thinking who the coach might have been back then, maybe Dave Hobbs in a player coach rôle? I remember another year when Hobbsy decided that cycling was the way to gain stamina, so the whole squad cycled miles after miles pre-season but were too knackered to run when the season started. Still, nothing ventured nothing gained, as they say..
