We just got thumped for the second time in three weeks. This time by a side which was previously at the foot of the table. Yet not a peep here. Are we all just so deep in despair that we've given up?

I think we are just a bang average side. Lomax adds that little bit extra and I would say as an average side we are punching well above our weight for the season.

But with every average side we will get found out when other teams have more intensity

I'm sick to death of mate. The effort is there but every aspect of our game is just shambolic in its execution. We pipe up and show our discontent but the fella with the statue and an estate named after him is beyond criticism.

And we badly need another leader. That's not to say we should get rid of Wilkin, but one leader isn't enough, great teams have several.

Today's 1,2,3,4,and 5 are probably the worst back five that Saints have ever played. With 6 and 7 playing behind a beaten pack what else can be expected other than a sound beating. If KC has been involved in recruitment then he must take the blame if not then sack the recruiting team.

How bad is the league at the minute? We're 2 points off top and you're 4 and I think it's safe to say both sets of fans are far from happy with what's being served up. Our good side and your great side of the early 2000's would wipe the floor with these current sides.

Bang average squad, it's all about the recruitment, sub standard for the last 18/24months top 8 side at best no where near Old Trafford. Lacking in too many areas to cover as in seasons past...

We're just Sh**e, make no bones about it. Years of signing players no one else wants, topping up contracts of players who don't deserve a shirt & hiring too many old boys for coaching staff who played with distinction for years for this sliding great club. Despair Is a good word

Very unpredictable season with Wakefield providing all the entertainment at the moment. Both Wigan (Pack) and Saints (Backs) small in size compared to most teams, Catalans and Hull are strong and massive units and both Wane and Cunningham keep talking about energy levels but don't do anything about it to improve dominating minutes.
Team spirit and mental toughness is helping some of the "lower-mid table" teams at the moment, don't think we have had one single game this year where we have played for 80 mins and I can't think of any game at all this season where we totally dominated and played well.
Our defensive coach should have been sacked months ago, can't tackle, dumb defensive reads and lazy impact approach is embarrassing to watch, I think this is also happening to a lot of super league teams at the moment, if you look at the league its possible 9 out of 12 teams could have a negative points difference which I don't think has happened before.

The top and bottom of the matter at the moment as far as I'm concerned is, there's a few very happy fans, (and Sky) and a vast majority, the rest, who are totally fed-up. If anyone thinks this is good for the game, a levelling down, then I would strongly disagree. There's only so many times that David beating Goliath is entertaining, especially when Goliath is really only another David. I want Goliath v Goliath back. I want normal service resumed! This season is fast becoming a complete scrub-out. What a blow-out if we get David v David in a third full GF.
