Indeed. Gonna reserve judgement until I see it up close but first impressions were not good. Hope this years training range is better than last years guff too.

on the video it looks almost as dark as the 2007 away shirt but it looks more like a true leeds shirt

On the blurb on the email it says same

“We are very pleased with the new look for our home kit. It includes traditional elements with the amber hoops but we have introduced a darker shade of blue to the main body. The blue is a similar shade to our alternative kit in 2007, which we wore in our first Grand Final win over St Helens, and was a very popular shirt with supporters.”

Amongst the first principles of a coherent visual identity should be some consistency in the colour scheme.

Are we blue or are we navy?

Are we amber, gold or yellow?

We know what they should be, and IMO the new design of the kit is generally fine; but is it that hard for the home kit to stick to what are actually supposed to be the club's home colours?

Meh. Nothing to get too excited over, but nothing to complain about.

Basically 2010s home shirt, just a bit darker. Nice enough, but not worth £42.50 when you forked out for the same thing (essentially) 2 years ago...

Agree with most of that. Much of a muchness but I'll still end up getting one.

I quite like it. Not bought a shirt for 2 years, so I think I'll be getting this one
