Still reading and pondering pros and cons about Huddersfield Giants coming to The Shay

FC ( football club?) Halifax Town are set against it,  if they did not want the pitch churned up stop having it look like it has had a number 0 hair cut !

 The Giants being as/L club ( this season) will bring 2x the crowd that Fax and FC do, got to be good for the town in general. 

 Could it be done that clubs from either side  have reduced entry to the others games? Increase crowds( possible)  maybe half price for HG/ HP to watch others games, how you prove  you came to previous  ticket stub?  ( this could necessitate Fax playing Friday night as they used to and had crowds in excess of 5 k if I remember and a great atmosphere to boot. 

No doubt there will be many detractors but worth consideration? 

This time next season the Giants could be playing Championship rugby

Tbf the football fans aren't against it in the main , the main instigator of negativity is a few on the shaymen forum, I think they've managed a couple of hundred signatures on their petition

It's a strange echo chamber forum where there's multiple threads on rugby league, they've just spent 5 pages arguing about michael steeles involvement ( there isn't BTW) but it fits in with the low iq false narrative bs

The only thing that clayton got wrong was the term ' moral high ground ' when he should have just used the term high ground when referring to who needs the deal the most .

The problem with that forum is weak leadership,  if you had that conversation in public it'd be shutdown within minutes such is the level of nonsense on there. 

My concern is the debt that is going to be loaded onto both clubs for the works that will take place
