But most likely wins can come from Fev, London, KR and Catalans though they may be right up against it depending on when we play them. Last time we pushed Widnes and but for a bad bounce we could have won so also potential there.

Well we could pull off an upset but I agree HKR should be too strong for us at home and rightly so comparing the differences in budgets and between a full and part time team.

You will of course need all the first choice players being match fit and with some just returning from injury that's not possible.

The question will be for the Robins can HKR avoid any banana skins when playing the other Championship clubs and then get past the SL teams, would you still put your house on it.
The longer you stay in the Championship the harder it is to get out and on that point.

Where does this myth come from ? This season has never been about who tops the league in the first part of the season.IF super league runs with 13 next year then the top 5 of qualifiers should go up and if HKR don't make that they stay down..simple..

Potentially agree, or top 4 then 5 &6 in the million pound game is the only fair way bearing in mind that this has been the situation pretty much all season. Or let's just pu KR up and bollox to the rest.

It comes from the press who reported that at the meeting of SL clubs a few weeks ago when the 13 team SL was floated that HKR would be the 13th team if they failed to get back through the current 8's and million pound game.
As stated in the post on the 13th team MK confirms it was put forward and would be funded by taking money from the Championship so the idea is definitely more than a myth.
HKR are the team chosen because of the numbers of their supporters that have been lost to the other SL clubs
home games and the money involved.
Other relevant press statements have said any changes would would not affect this years comps.
They probably think it likely that what happened to HKR will not happen again this year certainly not by Fax, Fev or London.
If HKR were to win the million pound game against say Catalans then HKR would go up and it would be Cats that got to stay up to make up the 13.
It's impossible for anyone to know how things will work out at this time not even the clubs know, certainly not the Championship clubs because at their recent meeting it was reported virtually nothing of any substance was discussed.
My question to anyone is how they would feel if their club got this sort of shoein regardless of on field performance.
It would be the most clear unprecedented preferential treatment in the history of rugby league.
Would they not give a dam as long as they benefitted or would they see the harm this would cause.
