Just booked 2 tickets to watch England vs Australia in the Four Nations Final at Elland Road. I was wanting to know if any other Fax Fans are attending and if so will you be wearing our shirt?

The reason i ask is i dont want to stick out like a sore thumb if everyone is just going to be in the England strip. (which i dont have)

I saw Sammy and Tommy walking towards the stadium in Hull on Saturday Sporting Halifax Gear, would have said Hi but was at the other side of the road and wasn't gonna make a tit of myself yelling across a busy street!

I will be wearing my Fax shirt and taking my Fax flag too so dont worry!

My old man will be there as he's going to be singing the National Anthems with a local Male Voice choir!

Only RFL organised events I will attend in future are the ones that involve Fax.

Confession time, yes I will be there despite boycotting all things SL I am going on Saturday because a mate got tickets for £10 cos he went to Wembley to see the England v Aussies, it is too good a deal to miss really and yes I will be wearing my Fax shirt.

When somebody goes out of their way to get a batch of tickets as they were so cheap then it would be rude and plain daft not to go, if they had been any more I would not be going end of story. To be truthful not fussed if we win or lose but I am still a RL fan even if its not my team its a SL team plus a Kiwi and couple of Ausies playing the green and golds on Saturday.
You can stick to your principles and I often do (not been to a non Fax game other than the CC Final for over 5 years now) or you can take advantage of a generous offer from a mate, what would you do? I try not to throw a favour back in peoples faces, do you?

Have the RFL insisted on the utilisation of the upper East stand to increase the capacity by a further 8,000 ?

I won't:
A) be going to the final.
B) wearing my Halifax shirt while watching the game at home on tv.


I will, however, be:
A) For the 3rd consecutive week screaming at the tv to the England players for not taking revenge on the Sam Tomkins head attackers.
B) Instructing the referee he got vital decisions against England incorrect.
C) Celebrating a famous England title win.

That's because we're a couple of mad b@stards with that glint of craziness in our eyes, Brew. No one would question us about our attire



We almost donned some Scotland RL gear but that would directly be not supporting either team, which simply wasn't true. Sadly England won



As long as people don't turn up wearing those stupid couloured bodysuit things then a)you won't stick out b)you won't look like a to$$er. It's not funny. It's not original. You're embarrassing yourselves and the sport. Stop it.
