Could have ruined yesterday after 5 seconds. Had a good game after that but the guy needs to sort out his discipline big time

A bit harsh, he went in hard and it went high. I agree on any other given day he could have been red or yellow carded, but apart from that one incident he had a pretty well disciplined game.

After all didn't Morley get sent off for a similar incident, I didn't see anyone shouting that he needs to sort his discipline out....

Honestly, I can't believe so many postings on here picking at some of the players. Barlow was absolutely superb for other 79 minutes 55 seconds, so let's leave it at that.

I agree, he had a great game. However the ref could (should if you agree with all of the bbc pundits inc Noble) have sent him off after 5 seconds. If he had done the day would've been ruined and everybody would be saying what an idiot he was on here. Everyone wants a physical forward but he goes OTT a bit too often in my opinion

A good player but his discipline lets him down. The high tackle was silly. But a couple of times he deliberately got in the way at the play the ball and cost us to defend sets on our own line-which is a great weakness of ours. If Sam learned to cut out the daft stuff he would first be a much better player and secondly would help the team even more than he does. He certainly gave it the Bradfrod team yesterday, but he just needs to think a bit more than what he does. I am sure Noble will help in this area not just with Sam but the whole team. Silly Penalties are killing us.

A nasty snarling brute of a prop. Isn't that what we always cry out for when we don't have them in the team?

Yes we do like Aizue but giving away silly penalties by kicking or getting in the way of the play the ball is not what we want. A nasty brute of prop for me is somebody who runs over people and hits hard in the tackle. Sam does this and glad we have him. But he also has a negative side that needs working on mate. Just my opinion though.

Finding the perfect player is nigh on impossible. Every good/controversial player has his Jekyl. Look at Feka Palliasena - he's a steamrolling combine harvester - just what you need. Problem is - his fuel tank has a ten minute lifespan. It's like the characters on Mariokarts - all have their different strengths but obvious weaknesses. Same goes for Barlow.

I know what Sam did in the first minute was a bit daft but he would have been pumped up and maybe thought i will just give him a reminder of what is to come and he caught the lad high, i would say more bad judgement than malice. That aside, he is passionate about Halifax and thats why i sponsor him because his heart is with his home town. Sam worked his backside off yesterday and i would guess he made more tackles than most. Any faults with his game will no doubt be addressed in the coming months. Lets just remember he is still a young man and is nowhere near his prime yet.

Barlow was outstanding. Leave it alone.

Barlow was excellent for us like he has been throughout the season. He nailed a few of there forwards and put in a huge shift in the pack.

If we dont get the nod for SL in july i am sure he will leave and go super league and if so i would wish him my best as he has been outstanding since returning to us.
