For a side in their first professional season I thought they performed extremely well. Fitness told in the end as it should have done but a thoroughly deserved ovation from the majority of the crowd at the final whistle.

They had a real good dig and should be proud of themselves. Think the scoreline flattered us to be honest, it was purely fitnes that blew it out towards the end.

Yep have to agree....they gave it their best shot, and had it not been for the blowout in the final 15 minutes, we would have been severely humbled.
Glad to see they got a standing ovation at the end as it was thoroughly deserved.

I agree, in one spell they kept us out for four close sets on their line and stopped our forwards far easier than I expected. I also thought they looked fitter than I thought they would and managed some great offloads and kicks in play.

I honestly think the score flattered us, we looked lost on many last tackles and scored quite a few tries from scrappy wrestling over the line rather than creative flair. Wood and Wildie did little and far too many silly handling errors occurred. I don't think many of the non-regulars did anything to push for a regular place or even a contract in a game in which they should have been trying to prove themselves. Our forwards ran it in hard and I thought Lee Smith looked by far the best player on the pitch.

I actually felt more positive after losing to Warrington than I do today after seeing us score 11 tries!

Yes well played the Stags, they gave a good account of themselves. Also well played to Wakey for been professional enough to carry on scoring to the end & not easing up when the opposition started to tire.

Got a lot of respect from me also. They also played a clean game which sometimes dos'nt happen in games like this.

They have now become a team I shall follow with interest it would be great to see them get into the championship.
