Singleton should definitely get the start with Peacock facing a ban.

I believe it would be the first time he has faced one of the contenders as a starter without JP there. We all know about the moans about Kirke and Bailey not stepping up.....let's see what the young one can do.

Personally I think Walters and Minchella are too similar in size and strength. We need something more for one player. Shame we can not recall Foster, only one out there on loan who looks like having a future.

I hate the thought of having Kirke in, but if he isn't going to trust another big lad from the academy, then I would rather see Kirke in and Minchella take Walters spot from last week.

Other than that I would go with rhinoms suggestion.

Stevie Ward at 13 would be lovely to see. Shame we haven't seen more of it.

If any of the bench kids outperform Kirke or Clarkson then they leapfrog them for the next games.

I'd go for Walters in the centres alongside Watkins. He can't be any worse than Ward or Sutcliffe in that position.

Given the shortage of back rowers and Peacock's absence, expect to see a prop at loose forward to add some extra size from the start (either Singleton or Bailey probably)

Singleton really needs to start kicking on and dominating some collisions. Runs hard and you can't fault his effort, but you never see him scattering defenders or winning quick play the balls. He's not alone in that regard either.

I would expect Peacock and Hardaker to be missing so the 17 picks itself. Surprised Peacock is arguing the case really.

Why shouldn't he?. He has a long record in the game without receiving a single ban in that time. One indiscretion that was clearly provoked, and the criteria put in front of him is one game or two. Quite right to argue his point.
